Scotland slideshow!!
Welcome back bloggers, this week in reading I have been making country slide shows. I choose to do my slideshow on Scotland because I'm from Scotland. This was one of my favourite activities in Reading, for me it is very unusual to love activities. I can like activities but not usually love!
Well that's it for me bloggers, blog ya late!!
Play dough stop motion
Kia ora bloggers, today the whole Te Waka ako made a stop motion movie out of play dough. You are broadly wondering what a stop motion movie is right? Well a stop motion movie is an app that you can move an object and capture it by pressing space bar or capture button. Then the picture taken will become a movie. I think I spent my time wisely and my creations are just the way I pictured and since I had time I made two stop motion movies. In this blog, there will be two awesome videos. ENJOY!!

Taupo trip
Taupo trip😆😃😄
Welcome back bloggers. This weekend I went to Taupo to see my cousins and to have a holiday for 4 nights. I went to Taupo with my brother Apollo, my mum Vanessa, my
dad Boyd and we slept in Villa 1. From what I remember this was my first time sleeping in a Villa but my mum and dad think opposite.
''Splash! Splash!'' That evening me, my family went to the hot springs and it was SOOO relaxing because the first pool we went to was the nice, hot thermal pools and well me and mum and dad were relaxing my annoying brother Apollo begged my mum and dad if he could go on the fast, dark hydra slide and so he did. A few minutes later my brother Apollo came into the thermal pool and said that in the hydra slide he almost fell off the slide because it didn't have a roof and then he said that in another slide he hit his head hard because he was going fast and and it was dark and apparently this slide had a roof that was hard to believe.

Matariki
Matariki activities😄
Hi bloggers, this week is Matariki so in the morning my group did a ponamu that is a shape made out of green clay and this is how mine turned out. A ponamu is a traditional necklace.Activity 2:
The next activity I did was making Matariki kites and man it was FUN! I especially enjoyed tying the kite. And in the end I think my kite turned out pretty good and a big thanks to Zoe my partner for helping me tying my kite!
Activity 3:
The final activity was colouring a small feather so the whole Te waka ako could make a feather cloak. This was my favourite part of the activities because we got to create our own unique pattern.
Blog you later!

WALT:Report,Recount,Reflect
When:On week 7 of term 2
Where:At Auckland zoo at western springs
What:A school trip with the senior syndicate
Why:To look at the amazing animals
Who:We went with parents,teachers,children
How:We went on a 2 story bus
Hi bloggers, last week the awesome senior syndicate went to Auckland zoo at Western springs for a exciting school trip to look at the animals. We went with parents, teachers, children but before we could head off we had to get in groups with a parent. When we got in groups we went on a 2 story bus and headed off.''The wheels on the bus go round and round'' After we got off the loud song bus we had a little talk about were things are and then went off to the enclosures. The first enclosure my group went to was the cute red panda's and when we got there one of the red panda's had his head in the middle of a twig and he was looking at us with it's cute eyes.
''Oh! Ah!''After morning tea my group went to see the amazing servals but when we got there we could only see one but that's okay and there AMAZING animals! My group stood there for a while because everybody was there so it was hard to see the amazing servals. Then my group went to the blue penguins enclosure and sore cute rescued penguins.
Lastly we went to the otters encloses and saw some cute otters there were peacefully swimming in the calm cold water and i have to be honest i LOVE otters speciality thees otters well that's me.Goodbye wonderful bloggers!

Waikowhai Art Festival
😀😄Waikowhai Art Festival😆😁
Jumbo bloggers, I will be telling you about our art festival and our creative bird paintings. On Tuesday 26th of June we had our first art show for the term, it's on until Friday 29th June which ends tomorrow so come on down to see all the amazing art. I chose to paint a fantail because it is a native bird to New Zealand and it is a very beautiful bird because it feathers are like fans and are nice colours together. For the body I used beige brown because that was the closest colour to a fantail, I used a dark greyish colour for the feet because I wasn't quite sure what colour a fantail feet are, I used a dark brown colour for detail like strokes and wings.
I think my bird turned out better than I thought and It is good. I think that next time with the water I could blend it more better but apart from that I am proud of my work. After I finished my bird painting I worked on my Chromebook and made a sign that had to say a massage relating to don't litter. My message was showing how animals end and start, for example a turtle starts out happy and healthy but end up unhealthy and unhappy because it is dying from plastic rubbish that people drooped. Well that's me blog you latter!

Tiritiri matangi trip
![]() | |||
This is me and my friend Zoe picking up colourful shells.😀 |
Hi bloggers, last week the senior school got on a bus to go to the fairy station to get onto a fairy to go to Tiritiri matangi island and got into groups and went on a bush walk with a tour guide and saw and heard some native and endemic birds. Then we went to the beach and on our way back to school we watched a movie on the bus and closed the curtains on the bus and when we got back it was very dark.
Kererū are big birds, in fact they are one of the largest pigeons in the world. They weigh about 650g and are about 50 cm long.😀 |
