Tristar gymnastics

                    😜 Gymnastics πŸ˜†

As Spanish people say '' Dar una buena acogida '' - welcome back!  This week the waikowhai primary went to Tristar gymnastics to do do lessons on how to do gymnastics and get fit. Every lesson two different classes walked together and did there lesson and once they came back another two classes walked their and so on. I really enjoyed gymnastics because it was a chance to get out of my confidence zone and do something different and I got to learn some cool skills. When we got there we had to take our shoes and socks off and then we did some warm up exercises, I loved going on the trampolines and learning how to do cartwheels and hand stands and working with other people. I think doing gymnastics boosts up your confidence and makes you strong, I think every school should do gymnastics so they learn skills and get exercise. Here are some photo's of us in action,  Bye for now bloggers!

This year the awesome Hauraki hoppers have been earning some fitness steps and being doing a biking session to learn some skills and get more steps. We went biking on bikes sponsored by Bigfoot - a biking group, everyone had so much fun especially when we got to ride in windy and rainy weather. We all learned about what to wear and how to put on your helmet correctly and how to do a bike check. I decided to do biking more often because it get you fit and it's fun. well that's it from me bloggers, adios omegas - goodbye bloggers!

πŸŽ‰Summer learning Journey practise 1πŸŽ‰

          πŸŽ‰Summer learning Journey practise 1πŸŽ‰

As welsh people say, Croeso nol - Welcome back! I'm here with a another interesting activity of the Summer Learning Journey and this time it's about bull fighting! This activity is about weather or not I agree with bull fighting, here let me explain more about it. In Spain they do bull fighting and if you don't know what bull fighting is I'll tell you. Bull fighting is when a man (usually) tries to ride on a bull and tries to hold on and tries to kill the beast. I decided that I don't agree with bull fighting because they end up killing the bulls that have done nothing to them and that is very sad because no animal should be killed!

Do you agree with me?

          Summer learning Journey

Today a girl named Megan introduced us to a site called the Summer Learning Journey. The Summer Learning Journey is when you try to do the most blogging and commenting and you get points for doing different things. Once the Journey has ended there are spot prizes and a drone prise for the person with the most points and comments, there are at least a thousand people already entering from different schools all over! This task we had to choose a country to write facts about and I choose Germany because I have always been interested In Germany because of the amount of people in Germany that is 81.1 million! Here is the link to the site and here are some interesting facts about Germany-Enjoy!πŸ˜€

  • Germany has 10 public holiday's, the day of German Unity (birthday) is 3 of October each year.
  • Some national sports in Germany are Soccer, golf, ice hockey, basket ball, Motorsport, handball, tennis and skiing.

Ako Hiko film festival

😜 Film festival πŸ˜€
Welcome back bloggers, I hope you have had a lovely holiday and a happy Halloween. This Halloween we haven't done anything scary but we have been doing so interesting Jokes and movies that we are entering in the Ako Hiko festival. Let me explain it a bit more, So the syndicate ( That is three classes ) put three movies in from each class that way everyone had a chance. '' Yah! '' For our warm up activity we did a little movie of saying a Knock Knock jokes and we got pick our team and in my team was Jasmine, Callum and me. For me I loved this activity because it was fun and we got to learn different shots like down shot, close up shot, up shot, medium shot and wide shot , the next step was we had to make real 3 min movie. Making a real 3 min was really hard because we had a time limit and it had to be about change, unfortunately my group didn't finish but we think it's not that bad. So what do you think?

Production Rehearsals

Production Rehearsals
This year is Waikowhai Primary's Production and this term we have been practising hard to make it perfect but not only that we also have to practise our dances and sort out the back stage crew. Thankfully we have some lovely family members helping us paint backdrops and paint props. Unfortunately we can't give you too much information about our production but I can tell you I think it's going to be great. We have more rehearsals which can be very tiring after a long day. Well that's it from me. If you would like to come buy your tickets at Waikowhai Primary Office and be quick, tickets are selling fast and we can only have a certain amount of people because of safety rules, but don't worry you can come on Wednesday Thursday or Friday.

Blog you later!!
