tornado - Welcome back! This week Waikowhai Primary School has been doing Athletics and to be honest it went really well. The sun was shining, everyone was happy and no one got hurt, how was your day? My favourite sport was high Jump even through I'm not super at it but I tried my best and it went well. Here are some photo's from athletics day - wish us luck because soon we are going to athletics zones! But first lets have a look at some amazing photo's Dave (Our handyman) took!

Welcome back bloggers, I hope you have had a lovely holiday and a happy Halloween. This Halloween we haven't done anything scary but we have been doing so interesting Jokes and movies that we are entering in the Ako Hiko festival. Let me explain it a bit more, So the syndicate ( That is three classes ) put three movies in from each class that way everyone had a chance. '' Yah! '' For our warm up activity we did a little movie of saying a Knock Knock jokes and we got pick our team and in my team was Jasmine, Callum and me. For me I loved this activity because it was fun and we got to learn different shots like down shot, close up shot, up shot, medium shot and wide shot , the next step was we had to make real 3 min movie. Making a real 3 min was really hard because we had a time limit and it had to be about change, unfortunately my group didn't finish but we think it's not that bad. So what do you think?

Production Rehearsals

Production Rehearsals 
This year is Waikowhai Primary's Production and this term we have been practising hard to make it perfect but not only that we also have to practise our dances and sort out the back stage crew. Thankfully we have some lovely family members helping us paint backdrops and paint props. Unfortunately we can't give you too much information about our production but I can tell you I think it's going to be great. We have more rehearsals which can be very tiring after a long day. Well that's it from me. If you would like to come buy your tickets at Waikowhai Primary Office and be quick, tickets are selling fast and we can only have a certain amount of people because of safety rules, but don't worry you can come on Wednesday Thursday or Friday.

Nau Mai, welcome back bloggers. This week the Senior Syndicate has been learning Maori feelings and so one of our teachers - Mrs McLellan made us a task to do a slideshow showing all the Maori feelings. In my class I was the first one to finish but I didn't rush it, well what do you think and PLEASE leave comments or suggestions because then that helps me blog better and that would be amazing!!!! Maths working out

In maths we've been. . .

Welcome back bloggers, this week in maths we have been
doing maths working out books and we've mostly been doing
divide questions and word questions. Today I finished this
slideshow and I only had 2 days to complete it. I think I did a
good job considering that I'm not brilliant at maths and don't like
maths. Well what do you think?

Waikowhai intermediate reflection

Waikowhai Intermediate Show

Welcome back bloggers. On Tuesday 25th of September, Waikowhai Primary school went to the Waikowhai Intermediate show. The Intermediate had payed for our bus ride. That was really nice of them. Because our school production is coming up soon this was a great chance for us to get a feel of what it is like. For me, the Intermediate show was very inspiring and exciting because I'm going there in two years!!

Welcome back bloggers, this week in writing we have been doing stories describing pictures.This week we had a picture to incorporate and to be honest I think my writing is

quite good. Well that's enough of my talking here is my story, hope you like it!!

I can hear the buzzing of the bees in the distance,
I can see the hopping of the soft,

gentle bunnies. I can feel

the whistling, gentle breeze and

feel the soft smoothness

on the calming green leaves.
Out from my window I see the

extensive view of the sun rising. I

smell the calming smell of

life. I can hear the twigs snapping as I step on them. I

wonder how the ruined Castle was when the soldiers were on

it. Just in the distance something catches my eye of the

elegant, graceful flowers. As I’m just about to fall asleep

on the gentle fox gloves I see the lovely warm sun

peeping through the the green trees and then a fluffy grey

bunny sits on my lap. It feels calming soft and so relaxing

and to me this is a nature wonderland.
