Cross Country!

             ๐Ÿƒ๐ŸŽ‰ Fun Run Activities!! ๐Ÿˆ

As Filipino people say '' Maligayang pagbabalik! '' - Welcome back! On the 11th of September our school had our cross country run and our fun run activities. The Fun Run is a fundraiser that all the students in your class have to do. The students in your class sign into a site and they fund raise as much money as they can in a certain amount of time and they get lots of prizes for the money they raise. They people fund raise them to do skipping for 15 minutes, score 25 soccer goals, run a long run and do a obstacle course run.

On the day everybody came in their house colours. They got into their year groups and they went around doing different activities. There were also some different activities like fun and games, running warm up and cheering. After the day everybody had sore legs. My favourite part about the fun run was the skipping because I like skipping and because it was a way to get fit and a way to get all your energy out.

At the end of the day I had a blast and I hope I get to do this wonderful thing again!
Blog ya later and enjoy some photo's of our day!

Atristic art

          Magnificent Cultural Art Pieces๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿ–Œ

This week our Senior Syndicate has started creating our visual art cultural people, representing our school's different, unique cultures. It was a long process, each class was assigned two cultures. Then each class drew in their art books what they think the two cultures would look like. Then with a lot of deciding the class voted and picked out two drawings to paint. The adults chose the two drawings with the most votes and those were going to be our art pieces.

Our teachers cut out pieces of wood that we could paint on and they drew an out line and all the details and then we started painting. We were paired into groups and during class our teachers took out different groups to do a half an hour painting section.  My classes two cultures were an Sir Lankan girl and an Afghani boy.

I really enjoyed paining because it was a change from every usual day and it was fun and creative. We have nearly finished our art pieces and I can't wait to see them finished. Once all the art pieces are done we are going to hang them up on the back fence of our school so them when people come up and down the backtrack they will see them.

Here are some awesome photo's showing how much fun we had. Blog ya later.
