Indigenous rights 🎉💻
For this activity we have to pick two of the links of indigenous right groups. For this I picked that 'The Maya People' group and the 'Papua New Guinea' group. Some interesting facts about these groups is that the Maya People group speaks more than 30 Mayan languages. They also have a sacred calendar to mark big events and rituals. Two interesting facts and the Papua new guinea is that there are at least 840 distinct languages in their country and that they have few thousand Muslims, including increasing numbers. I think it’s pretty amazing how these indigenous groups have such strong cultural traditions and tend to have so many languages! There is so much for us to learn about these groups :)
