Matariki activities😄
Hi bloggers, this week is Matariki so in the morning my group did a ponamu that is a shape made out of green clay and this is how mine turned out. A ponamu is a traditional necklace.Activity 2:
The next activity I did was making Matariki kites and man it was FUN! I especially enjoyed tying the kite. And in the end I think my kite turned out pretty good and a big thanks to Zoe my partner for helping me tying my kite!
Activity 3:
The final activity was colouring a small feather so the whole Te waka ako could make a feather cloak. This was my favourite part of the activities because we got to create our own unique pattern.

Kia Ora Chimay,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Jedi and I am a year seven at YMS. I have to say that you have done a fantastic job on that Pounamu necklace. It is actually quite pretty, but did it take a while to make? The kite you made is pretty cool to. It almost looks like a xylophone (from my perspective). Please keep up the great work! I can't wait to see your next post.
