As Balinese people say '' Rahajeng peteng '' - Good evening wonderful blogger, today I get to start the real Summer Learning Journey so lets get going shall we! The first activity this week is to think about your home town and say what's special about your home town? What is your favorite place to go to in your home town? Why should people come to your home town? My home town is Auckland, I think Auckland is special because Auckland is surrounded by dormant volcanoes and has a lot of great sites to see! I think you should visit Auckland because there is a lot of great people and great sites especially the sunrise in the morning and sunset at night. My favorite place to go in Auckland is the sky tower because it's tall and fascinating and it lights up at night! Well, that's it from me, Merry Christmas and Blog ya later!๐๐

Backtrack training!!
Backtrack training๐
Welcome back bloggers this term the Senior Syndicate have been practising their safety skills by doing Backtrack training with Constable Cyrus. We have been wearing bright orange coats and practicing when to cross and when it is safe to let other people cross. Most of it you have to work together as a team. I enjoyed doing this because you learned different skills and it kept you doing something helpful instead of doing nothing. Next year we're going to be going over it again to memorise it and who knows, maybe next year I might become a backtrack leader if I pass the test - hopefully! Here are some awesome photos of us in action

Tristar gymnastics
๐ Gymnastics ๐
As Spanish people say '' Dar una buena acogida '' - welcome back! This week the waikowhai primary went to Tristar gymnastics to do do lessons on how to do gymnastics and get fit. Every lesson two different classes walked together and did there lesson and once they came back another two classes walked their and so on. I really enjoyed gymnastics because it was a chance to get out of my confidence zone and do something different and I got to learn some cool skills. When we got there we had to take our shoes and socks off and then we did some warm up exercises, I loved going on the trampolines and learning how to do cartwheels and hand stands and working with other people. I think doing gymnastics boosts up your confidence and makes you strong, I think every school should do gymnastics so they learn skills and get exercise. Here are some photo's of us in action, Bye for now bloggers!https://www.tristar.org.nz/

Bigfoot biking
Jumbo bloggers, It's nearly Christmas so be extra good this year. This year the awesome Hauraki hoppers have been earning some fitness steps and being doing a biking session to learn some skills and get more steps. We went biking on bikes sponsored by Bigfoot - a biking group, everyone had so much fun especially when we got to ride in windy and rainy weather. We all learned about what to wear and how to put on your helmet correctly and how to do a bike check. I decided to do biking more often because it get you fit and it's fun. well that's it from me bloggers, adios omegas - goodbye bloggers!

๐Summer learning Journey practise 1๐
As welsh people say, Croeso nol - Welcome back! I'm here with a another interesting activity of the Summer Learning Journey and this time it's about bull fighting! This activity is about weather or not I agree with bull fighting, here let me explain more about it. In Spain they do bull fighting and if you don't know what bull fighting is I'll tell you. Bull fighting is when a man (usually) tries to ride on a bull and tries to hold on and tries to kill the beast. I decided that I don't agree with bull fighting because they end up killing the bulls that have done nothing to them and that is very sad because no animal should be killed!
Do you agree with me?

Today a girl named Megan introduced us to a site called the Summer Learning Journey. The Summer Learning Journey is when you try to do the most blogging and commenting and you get points for doing different things. Once the Journey has ended there are spot prizes and a drone prise for the person with the most points and comments, there are at least a thousand people already entering from different schools all over! This task we had to choose a country to write facts about and I choose Germany because I have always been interested In Germany because of the amount of people in Germany that is 81.1 million!
